Questions
Is UKChatBox free?
Yes, completely. There's nothing to pay and no sign-up on this website — just join our Discord server and say hello.
How do I join?
Click Join on Discord and accept the invite. If you're new to Discord, our how to join guide walks you through it in a couple of minutes.
Can I chat without Discord?
Yes. The rooms are also on IRC and the two are bridged, so you'll still be talking to everyone. Open the IRC web chat in your browser and pick a nickname — nothing to install.
Is the chat moderated?
Yes. Moderators look after the rooms 24 hours a day and remove spam, abuse and anything that breaks the community rules.
Do I have to live in the UK?
No. Most members are in Britain and chat runs on UK time, but everyone is welcome wherever they are.
Is there a Fortnite group?
Yes — #Fortnite is one of our busiest rooms, for finding squads, sharing clips and talking about the game. More about the Fortnite room.
